1. The agreement
These terms and conditions govern the agreement between Vällingby Körakademin AB (company registration number 559287-3612) and the customer when purchasing driving lessons, courses and services.
2. Services and prices
2.1 Driving lessons
- Each lesson is 50 minutes behind the wheel
- The prices include the car, fuel and insurance
- Lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance
- The price list applies from its publication date
2.2 Packages and courses
- Package prices apply to a prepaid series of lessons
- Packages are not refunded once they have started to be used
- Validity: 12 months from the date of purchase
- Course fees include materials and administration
3. Booking and cancellation
3.1 Ordinary lessons
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the lesson
- Late cancellation: 50% of the lesson price is charged
- Same-day cancellation: the full price is charged
- Cancellations are made by phone or on the website
3.2 Driving test and risk training
- A driving test with the Swedish Transport Administration must be cancelled 48 hours in advance (their rule, not ours)
- Late cancellation: the Transport Administration's fee plus our administrative fee
- Risk training: cancellation 72 hours in advance
4. Payment terms
- Invoice: payment terms 30 days net
- Late payment interest: the reference rate plus 8 percentage points
- Reminder fee: SEK 60 on late payment
- Payment by Swish, card or bank transfer
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
5.1 The Distance Contracts Act
When you buy via the website you have 14 days' right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. The right of withdrawal does not apply to services that have begun with the customer's consent.
5.2 Refunds
- Unused lessons: refunded after deduction of a 15% administrative fee
- Medical reasons: full refund against a certificate
- Relocation: refund on verified change of address
6. The instructor's responsibility
- Safe and lawful driving during lessons
- Training adapted to the student's needs
- Clear feedback and progression
- Following the Swedish Transport Agency's guidelines
- Maintaining the safety and servicing of the vehicles
7. The student's responsibility
- Bringing valid photo ID to every lesson
- Arriving on time for scheduled lessons
- Following the instructor's directions
- Reporting any health problems
- Respecting the vehicle and the equipment
- Not being under the influence of alcohol or drugs
8. Insurance and liability
All our training vehicles are fully insured as the law requires. The student is covered during lesson time for:
- Accidents during supervised driving
- Damage to third-party property
- Personal injury during practice driving
Liability for traffic offences during a lesson rests primarily with the instructor.
9. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancelled lessons caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as:
- Extreme weather and natural disasters
- Strikes and industrial action
- Technical faults at our suppliers
- Pandemics and health crises
10. Dispute resolution
Disputes should first be resolved through direct dialogue. If disagreement remains:
- Contact: first through our customer service
- ARN: the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes
- Court: Stockholm District Court
11. Changes to the terms
We reserve the right to change these terms. Customers are notified by email or on the website with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a change means that you accept it.
