About us
Vällingby Körakademin AB is a driving school at Härjedalsgatan 14 in Vällingby. We train for category B and run theory for taxi, bus, lorry and professional competence – with instructors who have many years behind the wheel and in the classroom.
Our method
We work methodically: every lesson has a purpose, and you know before we drive what it will be about. Afterwards you are told what has stuck and what we will take next time. That makes the training possible to plan – both in time and in money.
The cars are modern and easy to drive, with today's safety systems. It is the same kind of car you sit in for the driving test, so nothing feels new on the day. The theory you study at our premises together with a teacher, with digital materials and practice tests as support between lessons.
It all starts with a trial lesson for 299 kr. There we see where you stand, and you see whether you are comfortable with us before committing to a package.
After the trial lesson you get an estimate of how many lessons you need. We review it as we go instead of letting the bill grow quietly.
The basics in quiet areas, then denser traffic and the motorway. You never meet a task before you have the tools to handle it.
The test is a milestone. The goal is that you drive safely the day no instructor is sitting beside you.
Why us
Swedish, English, Arabic, Persian, Kurdish and Turkish – in the classroom and in the car.
Instructors with many years in the job who explain why, not just what to do.
Digital materials and practice tests, plus lessons at our premises on Härjedalsgatan.
Easy-to-drive cars with today's safety systems – the same kind of car as on the driving test.
Areas
We choose routes according to where you are in the training. These are the areas we use most and what they train.
Our starting point. We begin in the neighbourhood for calm, clear progress before the traffic gets heavier.
Close to our premises – good for the first lessons, with roundabouts, hill starts and parking at a calm pace.
A mix of residential and through traffic that trains observation, planning and speed adjustment.
Dense city traffic with varied junctions – realistic practice for the harder parts of the driving test.
A calmer setting in which to cement vehicle handling and routines before we move on to harder roads.
Many driving tests take place here. We practise on site so that test day feels familiar and safe.
Motorway, slip roads and queueing – the parts that separate a confident driver from an uncertain one.
Large junctions and retail areas give good practice in changing lanes and reading other road users.
