Common questions about getting a driving licence in Vällingby
Prices and payment2
What does a driving lesson in Vällingby cost?
A 30-minute trial lesson costs 299 kr. Five driving lessons cost 3,099 kr and ten cost 5,999 kr. If you want theory and Risk 1 included, our packages start at 6,999 kr. All prices include VAT.
What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
Cancellation must be made no later than 24 hours before the lesson, otherwise the lesson is charged. Get in touch as early as you can and we will find a new time. The full rules are in our terms and conditions.
Driving lessons3
Can I take the licence on an automatic or a manual?
Either is fine – we have both automatic and manual cars and you choose which to drive. Bear in mind that if you take the driving test in an automatic, the licence covers automatics only. Take it on a manual and you may drive both.
How long does it take to get a driving licence?
It depends on how much you practise privately and how often you can take lessons. With lessons every week and practice of your own it often takes three to six months from the first lesson to the driving test. We draw up a plan after your trial lesson.
Do you offer an intensive driving course?
Yes. We put together an intensive schedule with several lessons a week, theory and Risk 1, based on how much time you have. Contact us and we will work out a plan and a price for your level.
Theory and tests4
Which languages can I study the theory in?
We teach in Swedish, English, Arabic, Persian, Kurdish and Turkish. Both theory lessons and driving lessons can be held in your mother tongue – just say so when you book.
What do Risk 1 and Risk 2 cover?
Risk 1 (Riskettan) is about alcohol, drugs, fatigue, peer pressure and risk behaviour in traffic, and costs 549 kr with us. Risk 2 (the skid course) is driven at an approved facility – we help you book a slot and prepare you for it.
Can I borrow a car for the driving test?
Yes. A loan car for the driving test is included in our largest package (18,999 kr) and can be booked separately with the other packages subject to availability. Book early, since test slots govern availability.
Which theory courses do you have besides category B?
We have theory for the taxi driver licence, taxi business, bus (D), lorry (C), lorry and trailer (CE), haulage and Driver CPC training for professional drivers. Every course can be held in several languages.

We are at Härjedalsgatan 14, 162 66 Vällingby. Vällingby metro station (blue line) – about a 5-minute walk. We give lessons in Vällingby, Råcksta, Hässelby, Bromma, Spånga, Järfälla, Kista and Barkarby.

Your driving school in Vällingby – and in western Stockholm
We are a driving school at Härjedalsgatan 14 in Vällingby, a couple of minutes from the metro. With us you learn to drive in the traffic you will actually be driving in: quiet streets in Råcksta and Spånga first, denser city traffic in Bromma once the basics are in place, and finally the roads in Järfälla where many of the driving tests actually take place.
The road to a licence looks different for everyone. Some have practised for years and only need to polish the details, others sit behind the wheel for the first time. That is why we always start with a trial lesson for 299 kr – then we see where you stand and can say roughly how many lessons you need, instead of guessing.
Theory and driving in your language
Traffic rules are hard enough without the language being an obstacle too. We teach in Swedish, English, Arabic, Persian, Kurdish and Turkish – both in the theory lessons and in the car. That means you can really ask follow-up questions, not just nod and hope.
A driving licence in Stockholm – where do we drive?
We start out from Vällingby and drive across western Stockholm: Vällingby, Råcksta, Hässelby, Bromma, Spånga, Järfälla, Kista and Barkarby. The driving test and the theory test are booked with the Transport Administration, and we practise at the test centres most Stockholmers use – Järfälla, Farsta and Sollentuna – so that test day feels familiar. If you live closer to the city centre it is often quicker to take the blue metro line here than to drive across town.
